I’m an avid photographer living in Manchester, but always out and about!

My journey with photography began when I picked up a DSLR for the first time in the Spring of 2020. I’ve always been creative and full of ideas and thoughts, as well as a little bit of a nerd. So the idea of mixing those aspects together in the creative and artistic medium of photography, and all the nerdy tech knowhow and little details that it all entails, well that was pretty perfect for me.

I quickly fell in love with street photography, I grew up mostly in a small town, so big cities and all that they have to offer are always exciting for me. I find that every place I go to has its own unique feel and character, so seeing that and capturing it is great fun. I love the idea of capturing those small moments.Moments that would usually go unnoticed, or be forgotten. The things that give a place and the people who live there character, and make that place what it is, and those people who they are.

In my mind portraiture is very similar, it’s about capturing a person as they are in a moment, and hopefully a little bit of their story and identity in the process. Moving forward I hope to expand my portraiture portfolio with some amazing projects so keep a look out for that!

But I hope to display my work as I continue to get out there and capture things. And for those interested, feel free to come along for the journey!
